The program will take place just days after EPA publishes new RRP Rule changes at the end of July that could significantly change key elements of the Rule – including provisions that may require post-cleanup dust wipe and/or clearance testing, set the stage for applying the Rule to public and commercial buildings, change RRP training requirements…and more.
This will be an opportune time to assess where we are with the RRP Rule and its implementation so far, and what we still need to do to make the Rule the most effective tool it can be for lead safety.
It is important for EPA to hear from those who have had real-world experiences with the Rule during its first year and consider ideas for improving the Rule and its implementation.
